RR2010 Poster Contest

You got it. 2 colors, 11 x 17 in. Go crazy (by March 6th).

Redress Raleigh is looking for some amazing, stupendous, fantastic artwork to celebrate our 2010 eco-fashion show.  So to do that, we thought we’d extend an invitation to the most talented bunch of artists and designers we know — YOU!

We’re looking for 11 x 17 inch, two color poster designs that celebrate the Redress philosophy: Reenergize, Reinvent, Recycle, Reimagine, Renew, Repurpose, Revolutionize, Revive, and Recreate.

Interpret one, or all, of these words as you please within the confines of an 11 x 17 inch template, and send those lovely creations our way!

Several of the submissions will then be selected for screen-printing and will be put up for a silent auction around show-time to benefit the Redress cause. The lucky winners will receive one free ticket to the show and a warm, fuzzy feeling in their hearts for completion of their good deeds.

***Submission Details:***

Submit all work to Carrie Misenheimer at: * carrie.misenheimer@gmail.com*

By Saturday March 6th.

Please save all final images as 2 high quality JPEGs, one image for each layer of color.

Also send along a third image of the full-on, two color poster (no need for color separation on this one).

We will do our best to match your color specifications, but reserve the right to change them if needed be.

GOOD LUCK!

And thanks for participating.

MorLove and Redress Raleigh are currently featured on Goodnight, Raleigh!, an online magazine for local photographers covering the art, architecture, history, people and events of the city at night.

The following is an excerpt from their article on the Revolution Couture fashion show:

“On December 4th, three fashion designers showcased work as a part of the Revolution Couture Fashion Show at Pullen Memorial Baptist Church. The event was a fundraising effort for both MorLove and the upcoming Redress Raleigh show in the Spring.”
